Not long ago it was suggested that, in the future, my wife and I might play an online game of "Ars Magica". The problem is that, within my research, I've yet to locate a community for it.
Yahoogroups: Dead
RPGOnline: Nada
Google: What?
It's not that none have ever existed. Yahoo gives something like 64 games. All from the distant past, these games are no longer active.
This requires more thought, and research.
Thoughts?

It largely works like a group creative writing project, the GMs and players interact by any/all of the internet communications utilities (message boards, emails, IMs, phone calls, etc...). If needed, the GM does the dice rolling.
Similar to the old PBM games. Do a quick search of Yahoogroups or Google for "RPG online" and see how many sites pop up. Then check them out.
