When did music start sucking? I mean the new stuff. I did a sampling of everything released since about '92 and discovered that I liked maybe 4 songs out of the lot. And I saw well over 400 popular songs.
Did the 80's just rock all to hell, or is it comparative?

Aren't you younger than I by a few? At any rate, my wife has a copy of "...Bomb" (by U2), picked it up for Christmas, and gives it a big thumbs up. Rarely have I cared for the stones, and Aerosmith seemed to lose something when Liv started acting. However, I'll support your statement by saying that I have run across songs that I like.
And, yes, I still like many of the songs from the 80's that I know don't have any redeeming qualities. It boggles the mind.
Don't know if I've heard anything by the Dandy Warhols, but I'll look about.
Bummer. None of the groups I like are suitable for a houseful of kids. (Bloodhound Gang & the Reverend Horton Heat).
Try music-map.com, maybe there's something there (supposedly does recommendations on what you liked in the past....kinda like Netflix.)
